Job summary

Per Sé Group is seeking a field-quality professional for utility-scale renewable energy projects. You will scrutinize ongoing construction to ensure drawings, specs, codes, and project quality plans are followed, across PV, BESS, wind, and substation builds.

Three-plus years in construction or quality is expected. You’ll read drawings, track issues from discovery to resolution, and collaborate with Site Quality and Safety teams to keep quality and safety aligned.

• 3+ years of related construction or quality experience.
• Ability to read drawings and understand quality requirements.
• Able to document and communicate inspections clearly.

Job description

You like being the person who catches the problem before it becomes an expensive one.

This is a field-heavy quality role on utility-scale renewable energy projects, where you’ll be looking at the actual work, not just reviewing paperwork after the fact. You’ll see civil, structural, mechanical, electrical, and subsurface construction come together and make sure it matches the drawings, specs, codes, and project quality plan.

You’ll spend your time:

• Inspecting construction as it moves through each phase and identifying deficiencies early


• Reading drawings, specifications, contract exhibits, and quality requirements to know what should be happening in the field


• Tracking issues from discovery through resolution so nothing gets lost


• Reviewing contractor work across multiple disciplines, including PV, BESS, wind, and substation construction


• Recommending practical solutions when something doesn’t meet the required standard


• Working alongside the Site Quality and Safety teams to keep quality and safety connected


• Documenting inspections, findings, and project quality performance clearly for the site team and management

What you get:

$45-$50/hour, 50 hours/week, and the opportunity to work on large-scale renewable energy projects rather than being boxed into one narrow trade. If you’re traveling to a qualifying project, there’s $160/day per diem, plus rotation and mobilization support under the project travel policy. A company truck and laptop are provided, along with a cell phone allowance.

You’re a field-minded construction professional who notices things other people walk past. You can read drawings, understand construction quality requirements, communicate with contractors without needing to babysit them, and document what you see. Three-plus years of related construction or quality experience is the baseline.
