Job summary

Quest Global, based in Florida, seeks an experienced inspector to perform visual and dimensional inspections for AS9102 First Article packages. You will review gaging plans, resolve issues, and document non-conformances in a regulated environment.

Ideal candidates bring 5+ years of experience, an AS-Technical Degree (preferred), and familiarity with CMMs, GD&T, and data entry. This on-site role offers competitive benefits in New Port Richey, FL.

What You Will Do

• Working at a Florida based A&D Industry OEM Supplier, your primary work will involve the Visual and Dimensional inspections associated with the creation of AS9102 First Articles (FAI) packages.


• Review/offer gaging related suggestions/support to those performing inspection plans/layouts (elements of PPAP MSA / MRL processes.


• Spot, notify gaging related issues encountered. Help resolve.


• Spot, segregate, and document Non-Conforming Material when encountered.


• Interact w/ multiple computer systems / software.


• Collaboratively engage daily with your Project / Team leader, Peers, and Customer.


• Help Quest Global grow while you learn and develop your career.

What You Will Bring

• AS-Technical Degree - preferred


• Minimum 5+ years relevant experience to role


• Alternate: 8+ years relevant experience to role with no / non-tech degree


• Other Technical Certifications (DQR, CQT, CQE – noteworthy)

Required Skills (Technical Competency) / Attributes

• Reading and applying Blueprints / GD&T / Other Quality Requirements to task


• Selecting required gages, set-up, and perform manual “Bench Top” inspections


• Operate CMM and other computer-based inspection equipment. (Programming skills are noteworthy)


• Visual Inspection (ability to pass required yearly eye exam)


• Involvement with First Article Inspection Reviews (AS 9102-Rev C FAIR)


• Compile and review technical data - compare results to requirements. Identify non-conformances


• Gather / Transfer / Enter technical data into forms and systems accurately


• Prior roles w/ reporting responsibilities, requirements, metrics


• Excel / PowerPoint / Outlook – regular intermediate level user


• Prior demonstrated ability to focus on semi-recurring tasks


• Operating in procedure based and regulatory controlled environments

Pay Range:

$25.00-$35.00/hour plus company benefits. Potential for optional OT.

Compensation decisions are made based on factors including experience, skills, education, and other job-related factors, in accordance with our internal pay structure.

Work Requirements

This role is considered an on-site position located in New Port Richey, FL. USA.

• You must be able to commute to and from the location with your own transportation arrangements to meet the required working hours.


• Shop floor/Distribution site environment, which may include but not limited to extensive walking/standing, and ability to lift 40 lbs. at times.


• Fulfill requirements of eye exam


• Use of PPE (where required)

Travel requirements:

No/minimal additional travel is required.

Citizenship requirement:

Due to the nature of the work, “U.S Citizen” status is required.
