Job summary

Contract Specialties Group is seeking a Quality Engineer to maintain and improve the Quality Management System and to lead the internal audit process, ensuring compliance and continuous improvement across the organization.

You will create, analyze, and maintain performance metrics, manage inspection activities, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate customer requirements into effective quality plans and corrective actions throughout the product lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience required.
• 3–5 years of experience in Quality Engineering or Management.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to read and interpret complicated technical drawings.
• Familiarity with AS9100/ISO 9100 requirements.
• Knowledge of statistical quality control techniques.

Job description

• Responsible for the maintenance and continuous improvement of the Quality Management System.
• Manage the internal audit process to ensure compliancetothe Quality Management System.
• Create, collect,analyzeandmaintaincompany performance metrics including on-time-delivery, non-conformances, and supplier defects. Report results tobroadercompany population.
• Ensure inspection and other equipment meets Quality Control standards. Make suggestions and improvements to procedures, standards,processesand equipment tofacilitatework and maintain product quality.
• Responsible for the compilation and maintenance of inspection reports and records.
• Perform root-cause analysis; consultwith engineeringandadviseotherdepartments astocorrective measures.
• Developing and implementing corrective and preventive action plans to address quality issues and prevent recurrence.
• Interface with customer and government quality representativesregardingaudits, corrective actions, acceptance testing, and other quality matters.
• Collaboratewith cross-functional teams to ensure that quality standards are met throughout the product lifecycle.
• Supportqualityinspectionto ensure theefficient processing of parts tomaintainmanufacturing product lines.
• Lead efforts to develop,maintainand deploy quality plans and activities that translate customer requirements into planned activities.
• Perform analyses ofqualityprogram requirements and prepare responsive quality plans, procedures, schedules ensureoptimumquality supportand compliance
• Providing training and guidance to team members on quality control procedures and best practices.
• Maintain documentation and records related to quality control activities.
• Compliance with Quality Management System procedures
• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience
• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in QualityEngineering orManagement
• Proficiencyin Microsoft Office Suite
• Ability to read and interpret complicated technical drawings
• Self-starter with minimal oversight and supervision
• This position requires either a US Person or a non-US Person who is eligible to obtain any required Export Authorization
• Demonstrated capability in Inspection, Quality Control & Assurance methods, techniques, and equipment
• Familiarity with AS9100/ISO 9100 requirements
• Knowledge and familiarity with statistical quality control techniques
• Knowledge of use of wide variety of measuring instruments
• Will berequiredto perform other duties as requested, directed, or assigned
• Must successfully pass a vision examination (including near vision andcolorvision, ifrequired) as a condition of employment and/or periodically thereafter.
• Ability to read small text and handwriting
• Manual dexterity required and able to perform repetitive tasks

• Ability to visually examine parts and documents
• Ability to lift 50 pounds maximum
