Job summary

ROHDE & SCHWARZ GmbH & Co. KG in Maryland seeks a Quality Supervisor to oversee the inspection team and ensure adherence to aerospace quality standards. You will coordinate daily activities, mentor inspectors, and maintain rigorous record-keeping.

You will collaborate with production and engineering to align quality objectives, drive corrective actions for nonconformances, and produce weekly reports that inform leadership decisions and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Supervise and coordinate daily activities of the inspection team.
• Lead and coach inspectors: train and mentor, monitor performance, and develop capabilities.
• Ensure compliance with ISO9001/AS9100 and other aerospace quality standards and legal/safety requirements.
• Manage inspection records and metrics: document deviations, corrective actions and maintain accurate traceability.
• Handle nonconforming material promptly and support root-cause analysis and corrective actions with Quality Engineering.
• Produce weekly inspection reports highlighting findings, trends, and improvement opportunities to support decision-making.
• Liaise with cross-functional teams, including production and engineering, to ensure alignment on quality standards and objectives
• Drive process improvements to increase efficiency, accuracy, and overall quality performance.
