We seek a dedicated Manager of Quality Inspection to join our Houston team, working closely with supply chain, planning, and quality engineering to oversee incoming, in-process, and final inspections, aiming to reduce inspection burden while maintaining high product quality.

Responsibilities

• Supervise inspection personnel and develop strategies to enhance efficiency in Quality Control
• Oversee calibration programs and quality engineers involved in inspection development
• Review inspection strategies and techniques for implant and instrument products
• Evaluate CMM and vision system programs for suitability
• Collaborate with suppliers to develop their inspections for certification to perform final inspections
• Analyze protocols and reports to ensure compliance with quality system requirements
• Support manufacturing and operations in addressing quality or compliance issues

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering with 5+ years of experience or equivalent
• 2+ years of supervisory or management experience
• Background in Medical Devices or a highly regulated industry
• Knowledge of ISO 13485 and FDA regulations
• Advanced understanding of mechanical inspection and equipment
• Basic knowledge of manufacturing processes including metrology, machining, cleaning, and sterilization
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
