Job summary

Moveras is seeking an Inspection Lead to drive quality inspections for all internal transmission components. You will mentor the team, coordinate with the department supervisor, and ensure smooth daily production.

The role requires standing for extended periods and occasional lifting up to 20 pounds, with active participation in daily standups and cross-department collaboration. Ideal candidates bring 2–4 years in manufacturing, a high school diploma or GED, and strong leadership and safety

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or GED and 1–3 years related experience, or equivalent.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
• Detail oriented, organized, and able to multitask while meeting deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Inspect all hard parts, bands, and sprags to uphold quality standards.
• Maintain daily equipment checklists and 5S in the department.
• Lead and mentor the inspection team; train others on defect identification.
• Communicate with department heads to ensure timely product delivery and screen for issues.

Summary:The Inspection lead is responsible for conducting inspections of all internal transmission components. The Inspection lead will also mentor, guide and work with the department supervisor to ensure the Inspection team is working efficiently and cohesively. In the supervisor’s absence, the lead will interact with other department heads and provide a channel of communication throughout the production day.While performing the duties of this job, the Inspection lead is regularly required to stand for periods of time, and must also be able to regularly lift and/or move up to 20 pounds.Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesInspect all hard parts, bands, and sprags.Ensure the highest levels of quality in work.Maintain daily checklist for all department equipment.
