Job summary

SEGULA Technologies Experts seeks a Quality Assurance Inspector to serve as the first contact for warehouse inspection discussions, perform PIR and QI tasks, and ensure accurate inspection reporting. You will review inventories, coordinate with BTLs and inspectors, and help update SOPs and QA processes to support lean manufacturing initiatives.

The role requires strong problem-solving, analytical skills, and knowledge of quality standards within a manufacturing environment.

• Blueprint reading skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office: Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Visio.

Responsibilities

• First point of contact for warehouse inspection discussions (incoming inspection criteria, training, standards, reports).
• Completing PIR (part inspection request) inspection disposition.
• Creating QI (One page rejection report) from the database and communicating to stakeholders (material controller, MQE, SQP).
• Completing inspection report using IC (Inspection Control System) for inventory deduction, shipping and chargeback.
• Reviewing system inventory vs. actual, rejected vs. shipped, disposition status.
• Working with BTL and Inspectors to address backlog and correct systems (IC, MACS and NTRP).
• Updating daily dashboard and communicating status to the LVO inspection BTL.
• Reporting to BTL on status of open issues and escalating for support.
• Working with BTL and the Quality Specialist on priority or process changes.
• Creating or updating SOPs for inspection.
• Using IT tools (IC, MACS, GILM, Kola, NTRP, GPS, DB).
• Collaborating with Packaging Engineering for improvements to packaging.
• Blocking/unblocking and flagging inventory as needed.
• Maintaining procedures and presenting summaries on failures, analysis, and corrective actions.
• Liaising with vendors/contractors to meet standards and containment.
• Developing and implementing quality assurance processes and tools.
• Writing and revising standard operating procedures.
• Supporting audits and regulatory inspections.
• Supporting quality training coordination.
