Corewell Health seeks a Senior Quality Improvement Specialist to partner with ambulatory care teams, providers, and leaders to identify gaps, implement improvements, and monitor progress across a diverse clinic network.
You will lead ambulatory quality, health equity, and referral optimization initiatives, driving measurable outcomes, and improving patient experience through data-driven strategies.
This role follows a hybrid work model, with an expectation of approximately two days per week on site. On-site requirements may vary based on business needs, team meetings, training, and operational priorities.

Drives projects throughout the organization including both clinical and non-clinical areas to accomplish measurable quality improvement. Work assignments are typically more complex involving multi-disciplinary teams. Analyzes and measures the effectiveness of existing processes and drives sustainable, repeatable, and quantifiable quality improvement. Collects and analyzes process and/or quality data to initiate, develop, and influence operational practices and procedures that focus on enhanced quality outcomes. Facilitates large improvement projects in coordination with leaders and providers to drive continuous improvement. Flexible in adapting to changing priorities. Mentors colleagues in improvement science application across the organization. Drives strategic quality goal setting to influence strategic priorities.
