Inland Empire Health Plan (IEHP) seeks a Quality Improvement, RN to lead and support clinical quality initiatives across care settings including hospitals, SNFs, and hospice agencies.

You will coordinate improvements in CMS Star Ratings, HEDIS, CAHPS, and P4P, collaborating with external partners and internal teams to drive results and education. This role emphasizes data-driven insights, evidence-based practice, and cross-functional teamwork.

Qualifications

• Minimum four (4) years of clinical/health care experience required, including at least two (2) years performing quality improvement analysis or project coordination functions
• Bachelor’s degree in science or health/healthcare related field from an accredited institution required
• Master’s degree in science or health/healthcare related field from an accredited institution preferred
• Certified Professional of Healthcare Quality (CPHQ), or other recognized quality improvement certificate required or obtained within one (1) year of hire (maintained through employment)
• Possession of an active, unrestricted RN license issued by the California BRN required

Responsabilités

• Participate in departmental and cross-functional teams; support IEHP and external stakeholder workgroups that focus on quality improvement projects
• Coordinate activities to foster good working relationships with contracted hospitals, SNFs, hospice agencies, providers, and external partners to encourage participation in quality improvement groups
• Apply knowledge of clinical processes or hospital operations to support activities to improve CMS Star Ratings, HEDIS, CAHPS, HOS, P4P
• Gather and compile information on evidence-based practices and industry standards to integrate findings into improvement initiatives
• Track and monitor improvement activities by performing ongoing analysis of outcomes and reporting findings
• Summarize performance outcomes data and draft feedback for senior staff and external partners
• Utilize Plan Do Study Act (PDSA) methodology for rapid-cycle improvement projects
• Participate in outreach, document barriers, challenges, and actions to resolve issues
• Maintain quality improvement program documents, audits, policies and procedures
• Develop and deliver training materials for QI teams
• Lead intradepartmental quality improvement teams and initiatives
• Enhance external-facing quality improvement via technology and internal process improvements
• Translate data into meaningful information and provide recommendations to leadership
• Perform other duties to ensure operations and department needs are met
