Job summary

HL Mando America Corporation is seeking a Quality Engineer to drive process quality improvements and root-cause analysis. The role focuses on resolving quality issues, performing PPAP/MIP activities for process changes, and supporting plant goals. Strong GD&T, and quality tool knowledge are essential.

The ideal candidate will collaborate across teams, communicate effectively, and be self-directed to close quality issues in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Overtime may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business, or related field.
• ISO/TS 16949 and IATF 16949 requirements.
• Strong understanding of GD&T for machining drawings.
• Proficient in quality core tools: PFMEA, PPAP, SPC, APQP, MSA.
• Ability to interface effectively for problem solving and drive issues to closure.

Responsibilities

• Serve as engineer representative for quality improvement within the organization.
• Collaborate with teams to resolve quality issues and improve performance.
• Participate in plant management to help develop plant goals and quality targets.
• Adhere to HL MCA policies and procedures and perform MIP/PPAP activities as needed.
• Be available for overtime and weekend work as required.
• Track quality issues using G-MES and related systems.
