Job summary

Caterpillar Inc. in Corinth, MS is seeking a Quality I to perform inspection of components based on work instructions, blueprints, visual aids or reusability guidelines in a safety- and quality-focused environment.

The role requires reading documents, using hand tools, hoists, and possibly overhead cranes, with cross-training to Salary Grade 2 based on qualifications and physical requirements. Starting pay is $19.75 per hour with a 2nd shift and night shift premium, plus a comprehensive benefits

Qualifications

• Reading and interpreting standard work documents and blueprints.
• Ability to read/write and interpret documents and data entries.
• Experience with tools and inspection processes is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Inspect components per work instructions, blueprints, or visual aids.
• Operate hand tools, cordless tools, gauges, and vibration tools.
• Interpret blueprints and use MES/PinPoint as needed.
• Cross-train in other roles up to Salary Grade 2 as required.
• Maintain safety and quality standards in a fast-paced environment.
• Utilize various computer systems including email on a regular basis.
