Description
Delta Screens and Filtration LLC is a privately owned company located in Houston, Texas. The company was founded in January of 2011 and is one of the largest independently owned screen manufacturers and suppliers in the world.
Manufacturing operations are conducted at a ~79,000 square foot facility situated on 26 acres located in the Northwest Houston Energy Corridor. Delta possesses the capacity to produce 1,200’-1,500’ linear feet of screen daily, depending on the product mix.
We are looking for a Manufacturing Quality/HSE Manager capable of thriving in our fast-paced Houston facility.
Responsibilities Include
- Administer and maintain Delta’s Quality Assurance & Quality Control Program.
- Responsible for ISO 9001 certification audits.
- Responsible for establishing strategic plans, policies, and procedures at all levels to ensure that the quality program will meet or exceed internal and external requirements.
- Work with Engineering to ensure quality requirements are met.
- Coordinate with customers to establish and implement customer specific requirements
- Coordinate company’s quality training program.
- Maintain Delta’s program for qualification of welding procedure specifications and welders which is compliant to the requirements of ASME Section IX.
- Administer and maintain Delta’s Health, Safety & Environmental Program.
Report and maintain applicable OSHA and State reporting requirements.
Schedule, coordinate and conduct safety meetings, facility inspection.
- Perform other related duties as directed by the President
This position involves an exciting mix of daily activities. With our onsite manufacturing facilities and support personnel, orders are typically completed quickly. We require a self motivating person who is eager to be part of a close-knit team.
Requirements
- College Degree
- At least 5-years of experience in a Quality Management role
- Experience with ISO 9001 or API Q1 compliance requirements
- A proactive self-starter with excellent problem solving and organizational skills
- Ability to learn processes and understand new software applications
- A team player who is skilled in verbal and written communications and consistently practices attention to detail
- Good communication skills, must be able to speak, read and write English fluently with excellent grammar.
- Advanced understanding of Microsoft Office applications
- Ability to prioritize and work on multiple projects
