Job summary

Simmons Foods, Inc. is seeking a Production/Quality Inspector to visually grade product on the line and remove defects to ensure compliance with customer specifications (quality, weight or count). The role may rotate to other positions on the line and requires passing a customer spec test to qualify.

As a team member, you will participate in ongoing development and adherence to company policies, working to improve cohesiveness and efficiency within the line and broader organization.

Qualifications

• Visual inspection of product to ensure it meets quality requirements (weight, count, etc.).
• Must pass customer specification test before becoming qualified.
• May rotate to other positions on the line as needed.

Responsibilities

• Visually grade product on the line and remove defective items.
• Ensure only quality product meets customer specifications remains on the line.
• Participate in team development, meetings and policy implementation to improve teamwork and processes.
• Maintain familiarity with Simmons operating systems and policies and communicate concerns or improvement ideas.
