Job summary

Goodwill of North Georgia is seeking a Grader to assess donated goods for quality and to ensure items sold contribute to job training for people facing barriers. You will examine and grade items, support daily production goals, and collaborate across teams in our 100+ locations.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Must have good oral and written communication skills in English.
• Detail oriented with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Must be able to work independently as well as in a team environment.
• Strong organizational skills and sound judgement; 18+ to operate a forklift.

Responsibilities

• Thoroughly examine and grade donated goods.
• Effectively process goods to meet daily production goals.
• Pivot to multiple work areas to support daily production goals.
• Identify and quickly solve problems and/or seek management support.
• Communicate effectively with management and team members.
• Promote teamwork with peers and maintain clean work areas.
• Follow training materials, e-learning, and instructions.
• Adhere to safety and security practices and report hazards.
• Attend required trainings and meetings.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
