Job summary

Goodwill of North Georgia is seeking a Grader to assess donated goods for quality and to train individuals facing barriers to employment. You will grade items for sale in stores and online, helping the organization convert donations into vocational opportunities.

The role emphasizes teamwork, adherence to safety, and accurate processing to support daily production goals and training initiatives. Prioritizes detail and reliable, independent work.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Excellent English communication and interpersonal skills.
• Detail oriented with ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work independently as well as in a team.

Responsibilities

• Thoroughly examine and grade donated goods.
• Process goods to meet daily production goals.
• Pivot to multiple work areas to support daily production goals.
• Identify and quickly solve problems and/or seek management support.
• Communicate effectively with management and other team members.
• Promote and demonstrate cooperation and teamwork with peers.
• Follow training playbooks, e-learning, and work instructions.
• Maintain a neat, clean, and organized work area.
• Adhere to safety and security practices including reporting hazards.
• Attend and complete all required trainings and meetings.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
