Vallourec STAR Houston seeks a Quality Assurance Technician for the Gauge Lab to calibrate, maintain, and distribute gauging equipment used in production. This role ensures instruments remain compliant, reliable, and available to support manufacturing quality requirements.

Day-to-day you will perform daily inspection routines, manage calibration schedules, generate work orders, and train coworkers while upholding 5S in a safety-focused environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Calibration standards and metrology practices knowledge.
• Experience in a manufacturing/quality role preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily inspection routines to verify gauging instruments.
• Maintain and track calibration schedules for equipment.
• Generate and manage work orders for verification/calibration.
• Train coworkers on Gage Lab procedures and best practices.
• Maintain clean, organized, and safe work area following 5S.
