Job summary

Ocean Spray Cranberries, Inc. is seeking a Food Safety & Quality Supervisor to monitor FSQA processes, manage process control and quality checks, and drive continuous improvement across the plant.

You will lead Quality teams, train staff, coordinate audits, and implement corrective actions in a fast-paced environment. The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, 5+ years in quality systems, and the ability to support a 24/7 operation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Food Science or a related field.
• 5+ years of food/beverage quality systems experience.
• Ability to support a 24/7 operation.
• Ability to influence others in daily interactions.
• Strong interpersonal skills for dealing with employees at all levels.
• Appropriate business management acumen.
• Effective problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communications skills.

Responsibilities

• Monitors process control, raw and packaging materials, quality checks, and GMP compliance.
• Analyzes and evaluates quality reports and trends, developing corrective actions.
• Provides training and coaching to Quality Technicians and employees.
• Leads continuous improvement initiatives to maximize operating efficiencies.
• Interacts with USDA, FDA, and State DoA and coordinates internal audit requirements.
• Responsible for creating and managing assigned budgets.
• Performs other projects or duties as assigned.
