Job summary

Ocean Spray Cranberries, Inc. is hiring a Sr. Food Safety and Quality Technician to ensure production quality and FSQA practices in the plant. You will assist the Quality Manager and Engineer, lead the technician team, and drive problem solving with SPC and data analysis.

You will support and promote food safety initiatives, maintain records, and contribute to continuous improvement efforts within a collaborative manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required
• Science degree (Bachelor/Associate) preferred
• 1–3 years in production/manufacturing or 2+ years lab experience
• Food/beverage industry experience a plus
• Strong math, analytical, and interpersonal skills
• Proficient computer, word processing, and email skills
• Detail oriented with ability to meet deadlines under pressure
• Knowledge of HACCP/PCQI and internal auditing preferred

Responsibilities

• Assist Quality Manager and Quality Engineer with monitoring and analysis
• Lead technician team to ensure regulatory, company standards, and quality programs
• Work with operations using SPC tools to drive problem solving and process improvement
• Develop quality systems documentation and provide training/record keeping
• Resolve food safety and quality concerns with QA leadership
• Promote FSQA program initiatives in the plant environment
