Job summary

Bunge is offering a Quality & Food Safety Internship focused on hands-on learning in a manufacturing environment. You will be placed at a crush/refine, packaging, or grain elevator facility with relocation required for the summer term. The program emphasizes HACCP, lab methods, and process optimization.

You will work on real projects, including sampling validation, SOP development, and corrective action initiatives, while gaining exposure to QFS systems and internal audits.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s in Food Science, Biology, Chemistry or related field with interest in Quality & Food Safety.
• Strong computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Ability to analyze data and present clear, concise reports.

Responsibilities

• Participate in day-to-day Quality & Food Safety objectives following 70/20/10 governance.
• Support projects such as validation of sampling techniques and Thermal inactivation studies.
• Assist in development and review of SOPs and laboratory procedures.
• Contribute to root-cause analysis and corrective actions for customer complaints.
• Assist with audits and updates to Food Safety Plans.
