Job summary

Bunge is seeking a Quality & Food Safety Intern for a ~12-week summer term at a crush/refine, packaging, or grain elevator facility in the United States. The role focuses on Quality & Food Safety, offering hands-on experience with HACCP plans, laboratory methods, and production parameter optimization.

As an intern you will support day-to-day QFS objectives, work on projects with the QFS team, and relocate as needed to a designated facility.

Qualifications

Strong computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Ability to analyze data to summarize and present clear reports.
Ability to execute tasks with proper documentation.
Strong attention to detail, problem solving, prioritization and organizational skills.
Effective verbal and written communication; ability to work in a team.

Responsibilities

Participate in day-to-day objectives of the Quality & Food Safety department (70/20/10).
Work on projects within QFS, including sampling validation and process changes.
Develop and review lab and sampling SOPs; participate in internal audits and updates to Food Safety Plans.
Engage with Bunge’s QFS Management System and improve product quality and production parameters.
Training Operations and Mechanics on impact to finished product quality.
