Job summary

Pro Resources Staffing Services in Elkhart, IN is seeking a Rubber Extrusion Production Worker for the 1st shift (5am to 3:30pm). You will support daily production operations, monitor extrusion equipment, ensure quality and safety, and maintain production records in a fast-paced manufacturing setting.

The ideal candidate has good hand-eye coordination, strong attention to detail, the ability to lift up to 25 lbs (40 lbs occasionally), and basic mechanical aptitude.

Qualifications

• Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift throughout the shift.
• Regularly lift up to 25 lbs, occasionally up to 40 lbs.
• Basic mechanical aptitude and communication skills.
• Prior manufacturing or extrusion experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor extrusion equipment.
• Ensure quality standards are met by following production procedures.
• Maintain accurate records of materials, scrap, and production output.
• Perform basic troubleshooting and communicate equipment issues promptly.
• Support inventory control, including FIFO practices and cycle counts.
• Follow all safety and housekeeping protocols.
• Collaborate with leads and supervisors to resolve production issues and improve processes.
