Job summary

Job description

Safety is #1 at BTD: Our expectation is that every employee:

  • Strictly follows safety policies, rules and safe work methods.
  • Promptly reports safety hazards, unsafe conditions, and injuries for prompt diagnosis and treatment.
  • Makes regular suggestions for safety process improvements to support continuous safety improvements.
Essential Functions:
  1. Performs FPC/LPC as required per site.
  2. Performs EQCP QA checks as needed.
  3. Performs LPA audit activities to ensure ISO requirements are met.
  4. Updates EQCP's in real time as needed.
  5. Identifies and reports SWI improvements for real-time updates.
  6. Seeks ways to eliminate or consolidate unnecessary EQCP checks to enhance productivity while maintaining quality.
  7. Generates Non-Conformance notifications (RA) and communicates appropriately.
  8. Creates or updates patterns as needed per site.
  9. Performs incoming receiving inspections as needed.
  10. Assists with PPI's as needed.
  11. Tracks and reports daily tasks to meet productivity requirements.
  12. Collaborates with QA, Operations, and L&D to ensure operator training needs are met.
Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

High school diploma or equivalent required.

Minimum five months of recent related mechanical and shop experience, including:

  • Knowledge of warehouse activities and inventory control.
  • Knowledge of computerized inventory systems.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, Word, and Axapta.
  • Problem analysis and resolution skills.
  • Understanding of safety requirements and proper use of safety equipment.
  • Ability to follow routine instructions and establish effective working relationships.
Physical Demands:

Includes standing, walking, sitting, handling objects, reaching, climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, talking, hearing, tasting, smelling, and occasionally lifting/moving up to 50 pounds. Vision requirements include close, distance, color, peripheral, depth perception, and focus adjustment.

Compensation Salary Range:

OTC5 $19.60-27.44 per hour. Salaries depend on knowledge, skills, experience, and education. This range does not include bonuses, benefits, or other compensation. Hiring at the top of the range is uncommon to allow for future growth.
