Tri-Mack Plastics in Bristol, Rhode Island seeks a Quality FAI & Technical Documentation Specialist to bridge Engineering, Production and Quality. You will ensure first production runs meet engineering specs, gathering and organizing material certifications, test reports and process documentation for regulatory and customer traceability.
Responsibilities include ballooning drawings, preparing inspection reports, conducting gage R&R studies, validating evidence, and developing inspection methods

The Quality First Article Inspection (FAI) and Technical Documentation Specialist acts as the vital bridge between Tri-Mack’s Engineering, Production, and Quality teams. They ensure that the initial production run of a new part used in aerospace or other critical applications meets all engineering specifications, and they develop, gather and organize the material certifications, test reports, and special process documentation as required. They meticulously verify that initial production runs meet exact design specifications, ensuring parts match blueprints, materials are certified, and that the manufacturing processes have produced compliant, audit-ready parts, together with the required documentation needed to ensure regulatory and customer compliance and product traceability.
