Job summary

GE Vernova Wind is seeking a seasoned Quality Expert to lead quality assurance initiatives across manufacturing processes. The role focuses on developing QA plans, driving root-cause analyses, and implementing corrective actions to ensure products meet ISO 9001 standards and customer expectations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in manufacturing leadership with a focus on Quality Engineering.
• Strong knowledge of quality standards and regulatory requirements (e.g., ISO 9001, Six Sigma).

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute quality control plans, perform root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions.
• Lead and facilitate continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality and efficiency.
• Collaborate with production, engineering, and other departments to identify and resolve quality issues promptly.
• Lead the application and maintenance of the QMS system in accordance with GE Vernova and industry standards (e.g., ISO 9001).
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address quality issues, ensuring product and process compliance.
• Train and mentor team on quality control procedures and best practices.
• Demonstrate a Quality mindset to foster a quality culture through the organization.
• Conduct audits and assessments to evaluate QMS effectiveness and drive improvements.
• Develop and deliver training programs to promote quality awareness.
• Analyze quality metrics to identify trends and drive corrective actions.
• Serve as primary contact for external audits and regulatory inspections.
• Lead root cause analysis and problem-solving for customer complaints and non-conformances.
• Oversee QA processes within manufacturing and ensure compliance.
