Responsibilities

• Coordinate and allocate manpower to support quality activities.
• Set objectives and conduct related training.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams to execute quality plans.
• Train and develop Quality staff.
• Maintain and monitor department training system.
• Develop standardized methods for the Quality area.
• Oversee department budget and financials for Quality.
• Forecast expenditures with customers and leadership.
• Review lessons learned and open issues.
• Monitor project financials with upper management.
• Support 5S, QS, kaizen and lean manufacturing activities.
• Ensure ISO compliance and access HIROTEC America database.
• Guide changes and new product introductions.
• Communicate with customers and vendors; provide updates on deliverables.
• Take preventative actions and corrective actions.
• Participate in project scoping, kickoff, and closure meetings.
• Motivate manpower to achieve goals and improve QS operating system.
• Access customer portals for pertinent information.
