Job summary

Jabil in Grantsville, UT is seeking an Assistant Quality Manager to support the Site Quality Manager in driving quality excellence across the facility. You will promote QA systems, support the QMS, lead training, and develop the Quality team to ensure compliance and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities include monitoring activities, driving CAPA, audits, and continuous improvement while ensuring ISO 9001 compliance and safety standards across operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing, or related field.
• 5+ years in Quality, Quality Assurance, or Quality Systems.
• 2+ years of leadership, supervisory, or management experience.
• Experience supporting quality systems in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience leading continuous improvement initiatives.
• Experience participating in internal, customer, and external audits.

Responsibilities

• Support the Quality Assurance Manager in achieving departmental and organizational objectives.
• Monitor Quality Department activities and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
• Manage quality performance metrics and drive corrective actions to improve results.
• Develop, coordinate, and facilitate quality-related training programs.
• Recruit, coach, develop, and support Quality Department personnel.
• Evaluate and improve the effectiveness of the Quality Management System (QMS).
• Promote the use of quality tools, methodologies, and best practices throughout the facility.
• Support internal, customer, and third-party audits, ensuring timely closure of findings and corrective actions.
• Lead CAPA activities, including root cause analysis and implementation of sustainable solutions.
• Ensure ISO 9001 compliance and alignment with company procedures and customer expectations.
