VEGA Americas Internal Applications seeks a quality assurance professional to support production by troubleshooting quality issues and coordinating inspections and testing for customer orders. The role includes documenting corrective actions, validating processes such as welding or painting, and assisting with calibration and testing activities using CMM and Niton Analyzer.

• Associates Degree in Technical field required or equivalent experience.
• Minimum two years of related QA experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

• Respond to the immediate needs of production or the customer by troubleshooting and assisting with problem-solving and quality concern resolution (5-whys; Cause/effect diagrams; etc.). Document problem resolutions and corrective actions.
• Coordinate customer inspections and facilitate testing and certification of orders as required for customer orders.
• Perform or coordinate validation of controlled processes, such as welding, soldering, painting, etc. This would include cross-sectioning of welds and solders, testing the adhesion of paint, and monitoring in-process inspections in Production.
• Assist in accomplishing in-process, final, and vendor inspection tasks as required, including inspection of the product, including use of the CMM and Niton Analyzer.
• Coordinate or perform calibration of in-house test equipment, such as the CMM, Niton Analyzer, and test benches. Support the Quality Coordinator with the calibration of gauging.
• Monitor and help control scrap; including pareto and corrective action analysis.
• Revise and maintain process documentation to support quality improvement, such as test forms, work instructions, and procedures.
• Measure and analyze key quality performance data; make recommendations on specific opportunities to improve quality.
• Facilitate resolution and communication of internal problems identified through LifeLines (Corrective Action system).

What you need
