Foxconn Wisconsin is seeking a Quality Engineering Supervisor to work as part of a team within the Quality Department in a production environment. This role offers opportunities to display critical thinking skills and expand your career in Smart Manufacturing.

The Quality Engineering Supervisor will support activities such as defining, developing, and delivering quality improvement projects, supporting production lines with the operations quality team, and assisting the Quality Department as needed.

Job Responsibilities Include:
  • Attend leadership meetings and provide progress updates.
  • Process hiring and interviewing candidates for the quality team.
  • Collaborate with operations, manufacturing, engineering, and regulatory functions to ensure quality standards.
  • Supervise the quality team to ensure compliance with customer requirements.
  • Analyze routine contract requirements to determine quality characteristics to be controlled.
  • Develop, modify, and maintain quality system procedures.
  • Analyze EFFA to determine root causes in early phases.
  • Support internal and external audits, nonconformance investigations, and dispositions.
  • Maintain Risk Management Documents for Released Products.
  • Support new product introductions with reviewing plans and supporting qualifications.
  • Support manufacturing lines as needed.
  • Manage CAPA projects using problem-solving and statistical tools, adhering to deadlines.
  • Support weekend and off-shift work when necessary.
  • Provide leadership and review of Process / RCA with cross-functional teams.
  • Support team members' career development through training or certifications.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Education and Experience:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Science, or a related technical field with 5+ years of experience in Engineering and/or Quality.
  • Technical aptitude in SMT, electronics, PTH, AOI, visual inspection, and use of electronic/electrical measuring instruments.
  • Certified Lean or Six Sigma Black Belt or experience in DMAIC preferred.
  • ASQ certification in Quality desired.
  • Effective English communication skills, both verbal and written.
