Job summary

Dizario Search is seeking a Quality Engineering Supervisor in Cleveland, OH to lead a hands-on quality team within a multi-billion dollar manufacturing company serving the aerospace sector.

You will partner with Manufacturing and Engineering to strengthen quality systems, drive root-cause investigations, implement corrective actions, and advance process capability while improving customer satisfaction and cost of quality.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing or related field.
• 2+ years of Quality Engineering experience.
• Experience supervising quality personnel is a plus.
• Strong knowledge of Quality Management Systems and improvement methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Lead, develop and mentor the Quality team.
• Drive initiatives to improve product quality, customer satisfaction and cost of quality.
• Evaluate customer-specific quality expectations.
• Develop and enhance quality procedures, inspection plans and related systems.
• Lead cross-functional investigations including root cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Partner with Manufacturing and Engineering to improve process capability and CI.
• Participate in audits and maintain strong customer relationships.

Dizario Search is actively seeking a Quality Engineering Supervisor for our client in the Cleveland, OH area. This opportunity is with a multi-billion dollar manufacturing company that manufactures metal parts and components for the aerospace industry. This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on Quality Engineer, who wants to develop people, strengthen quality systems, solve challenging manufacturing issues and partner across an organization to drive measurable improvements.

Responsibilities:

• Lead, develop and mentor the Quality team
• Drive initiatives designed to improve product quality, customer satisfaction, manufacturing performance and overall cost of quality
• Evaluate customer-specific quality expectations
• Develop and enhance quality procedures, inspection plans, documentation and related systems
• Lead cross-functional investigations into internal, supplier and customer quality concerns, including root cause analysis and corrective actions
• Partner with Manufacturing and Engineering to improve process capability and advance continuous improvement initiatives
• Participate in customer, supplier and internal audits while helping maintain strong customer relationships

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing or another field is required
• 2+ years of Quality Engineering experience
• Previous experience supervising quality personnel is beneficial
• Strong understanding of Quality Management Systems, quality tools and continuous improvement methodologies
