POSITION : Quality Engineering Specialist

Type of job : Full-time, 40 hours per week

Pay/Salary : $102,669.00 per year.

JOB DUTIES:

Develop and implement end-to-end testing strategies using quality processes and methodologies. Create and implement test plans. Monitor and manage test results, ensuring testing objectives have been satisfied. Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure quality is embedded throughout the software development lifecycle. Apply business and functional knowledge including testing standards, guidelines, and testing methodology to meet the team’s overall test objectives. Ensure all testing results are easily accessible and understandable. Track defects to closure and keep defect repository up to date. Support in-sprint testing focusing on functional test design, automation test, test development and execution. Participate in sprint planning, retrospective, feature / user story definition. Work with product owners to define acceptance criteria for features and user stories. Manage defects using standard defect management tools. Work with the development team to resolve any issues that arise out of the testing process. Work under supervision. Travel and/or Relocation to various unanticipated client sites throughout USA is required.

EDUCATION

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science /IT/IS/ Engineering (Any)/Business or related field with Twelve (12) months of experience in the job offered or as an IT Consultant or Analyst or Programmer or Developer or Test Engineer or closely related field.

EXPERIENCE

Twelve (12) months working with Selenium or Automation testing is required. Travel and/or relocation is required to unanticipated client sites within USA. International travel is not required. The frequency of travel is currently not known exactly butit could reach as high as 100% as it depends on the client and project requirement that cannot be currently anticipated.
