Job summary

Jobtailor seeks a senior Quality Program Manager to lead quality engineering and strategy across defense programs. You will manage mid-level leaders, drive quality plans, and support program execution with a focus on producibility and first-time quality.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in management, experience with DCMA/DCAA or Navy customers, and deep knowledge of QMS and AS9100 standards. Bachelor’s degree or higher is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher required.
• Minimum 5+ years in a management role.
• 5+ years with DCMA, DCAA, and/or Navy customer.
• 5+ years of experience with Quality Management System (QMS).
• 5+ years of experience in the application of AS9100.

Responsibilities

• Manages employees and mid-level managers performing quality engineering activities on or in support of programs.
• Develops quality strategies and plans in support of new business acquisition and execution of program/business plans.
• Supports the IS Senior Manager and members of the IS Program Leadership teams.
• Provides education and coaching on the Quality System.
• Acquires and manages resources, provides quality technical management and leads performance improvements.
• Develops and maintains relationships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners, suppliers and direct reports.
• Oversees review of technical information to ensure quality and producibility.
• Partners cross functionally to develop and execute Quality strategies for the program and identify best practices.
• Ensures and drives total quality / first time quality in every phase of successful program execution.
