RED Digital Cinema seeks a seasoned quality executive to lead the site’s manufacturing quality functions in Lake Forest, CA. You will oversee QA/QC processes, implement QMS, and drive CAPA, PFMEA, and SPC initiatives to ensure top product quality.

The role requires 8+ years in manufacturing quality, CQE/CMQ-OE or equivalent, Lean Six Sigma, and strong cross-functional leadership to reduce defects and cost of poor quality.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of manufacturing quality experience including quality engineering and quality management responsibilities.
• Experience managing inspectors, technicians, or quality personnel in a manufacturing environment.
• Proven experience with outgoing quality inspection and final product release processes.
• Experience conducting root cause investigations and implementing corrective actions.
• ASQ CQE, CMQ/OE, or equivalent certification.
• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification.
• Experience with ISO 9001 or other industry-specific quality systems.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong understanding of quality systems, processes, and statistical methods.
• Proficiency in SPC, MSA, PFMEA, Control Plans, and process capability analysis.
• Strong leadership, communication, and project management skills.
• Ability to analyze complex data and drive data-based decisions.

Responsabilités

• Lead the site’s manufacturing engineering quality function and ensure compliance with company quality standards and customer requirements.
• Develop, implement, and maintain quality management systems, procedures, and work instructions.
• Establish quality goals and performance metrics to drive continuous improvement.
• Manage and mentor quality inspectors, technicians, and quality engineering personnel.
• Collaborate with Operations, Engineering, Supply Chain, and Customer Quality teams to resolve quality issues and improve product performance.
• Own the final inspection and outgoing quality process for all products prior to shipment.
• Develop and maintain outgoing inspection procedures, sampling plans, and release criteria.
• Lead Production MRB reporting activities and disposition decisions for nonconforming material.
• Monitor quality performance metrics such as first-pass yield.
• Coordinate final product audits and product release approvals.
• Drive improvements to reduce customer escapes and field quality issues.
• Support ISO 9001 related activities and internal manufacturing audits.
• Lead quality improvement projects focused on reducing defects, scrap, rework, and cost of poor quality.
• Support Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and operational excellence initiatives.
• Analyze quality data to identify systemic issues and opportunities for improvement.
• Facilitate cross-functional teams to address recurring quality concerns and implement corrective actions.
• Act as primary quality contact for manufacturing-related customer concerns and lead corrective actions.
