Job summary

United Airlines' Digital Technology team is seeking a Quality Engineer Manager of Information Technology to lead QE engineers onsite and offshore, driving quality across multiple projects and testing tracks. You will influence best practices, govern testing activities, and collaborate with DevOps to strengthen CICD pipelines.

Requirements include 4+ years in quality engineering, Java/Selenium/SQL expertise, and the ability to travel up to 10%.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field; 4+ years QE experience.
• Experience implementing Test Automation framework.
• Experience supporting release automation (CICD) and performance testing.
• Willing to travel domestically/internationally up to 10%.

Responsibilities

• Govern functional and non-functional testing across agile, integration, end-to-end, performance, stress and endurance.
• Offer creative solutions to testing challenges like late QA builds and scope creep.
• Drive GenAI innovations from proof of concept to implementation in Digital Technology.
• Develop and implement strategies to improve QE practices pre- and post deployment.
• Partner with DevOps to build CICD pipelines for QA, integration and regression testing.
• Oversee QE efforts on multiple projects and testing tracks.
• Research and resolve people and project issues; escalate to senior management as needed.
