Job summary

Daimler Truck North America is seeking a Corporate Quality Engineering Leader for the DTSV unit to drive QMS deployment and continuous improvement. You will translate warranty and field data into actionable engineering improvements, under direction of the DTSV Corporate Quality Manager, while coordinating with Engineering, Operations and Supplier Quality teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality Management, Operations, or related field.
• 6+ years of progressive experience in quality engineering in automotive, commercial vehicles, or similar industries.
• Strong knowledge of ISO 9001, structured problem solving (FRACAS, 8D, RCA), APQP/PPAP fundamentals, and quality systems architecture.
• Demonstrated success leading cross functional- initiatives and influencing without direct authority.
• Strong analytical, communication, and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead the DTSV corporate quality strategy and governance initiatives.
• Support deployment, execution, and continuous improvement of the DTSV QMS.
• Analyze enterprise quality, warranty, field data and deliver actionable insights.
• Collaborate with DTNA teams to ensure compliance and effective feedback loops.
