Job summary

Bigbelly Solar LLC seeks a strategic Quality Engineering leader to direct manufacturing quality, production engineering, and vendor quality management across domestic production and the global supply chain.

The role ensures new product launches meet manufacturability and reliability standards, drives continuous improvement, and champions lean, Six Sigma, and ISO 9001/14001 compliance in a fast-growing solar IoT product environment.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in mechanical, industrial, or manufacturing engineering or related field.
Experience leading quality engineering in manufacturing environments.
Strong knowledge of ISO 9001/14001 and QMS implementations.

Responsibilities

Lead the design, development, and implementation of the Quality Management System across the manufacturing process.
Oversee ISO 9001 and 14001 development and implementation and ongoing regulatory upkeep.
Drive CAPA programs and root-cause analysis for production and field issues.
Collaborate with Design and NPI teams to ensure manufacturability and reliability of new products.
Track and report key quality metrics (yields, defects, warranty claims).
Lead reliability testing and design-for-manufacturing/quality practices.
