Job summary

GE Vernova is seeking a student for the Supplier Quality Engineering team to tackle complex quality challenges and drive product reliability for Solar and Storage Solutions. You will contribute to problem-solving on supplier issues, lead continuous improvement initiatives, and help to ensure outstanding customer experiences.

The role focuses on applying root-cause analysis, collaborating with engineering teams, and supporting lean/process control improvements in a production/engineering lab

Qualifications

• Enrollment in an undergraduate or graduate Engineering program (Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, or Industrial).
• Experience or strong interest in problem-solving methodologies and statistical data analysis.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite for report generation and reliability trend tracking.
• Strong analytical and communication skills to convey findings.

Responsibilities

• Support shop floor and field-level problem-solving to address supplier-related quality issues.
• Support continuous improvement projects to enhance product performance and reduce field failures.
• Perform root cause analysis (RCA) using structured methodologies to identify failure modes.
• Collaborate with Solar and Storage engineering teams to implement design improvements.
• Analyze supplier performance and reliability data to identify trends and drive improvements.
• Support lean initiatives and process control optimizations for high-quality energy storage systems.
• Participate in cross-functional task forces to accelerate product improvement cycles.
• Document technical solutions and best practices to standardize quality improvements.
