Job summary

Labcorp's PGDx Quality Assurance Team in Baltimore, MD seeks a Quality Engineering Intern for 11 weeks (June 1, 2027–August 13, 2027). The 40hrs/week paid internship focuses on risk management files, change controls, and data analysis of historical complaints.

You’ll collaborate with QA leads, supplier quality engineers and gain exposure to US/EU medical device regulations, QMS standards, and Labcorp’s global operations.

Qualifications

• Current enrollment in a Bachelor's degree program in Life Sciences or Engineering.

Responsibilities

• Quality Engineering intern will work on maintenance and improvement of risk management files and engineering change controls.
• Intern will review past complaints and utilize statistical tools to analyze historical data.
• Execute projects to categorize complaints by risk levels for continuous improvement.
• Assist quality leads to identify gaps and improve processes.
• Assist supplier quality engineer to identify gaps and maintain supplier files.
• Assist in Quality Assurance, CLIA Laboratory Quality or Quality Engineering projects as needed.
• Participate in Post-Market Surveillance data analysis.
• Perform related duties as assigned by supervisor.
• Maintain compliance with all company policies and procedures.
