Skydio, the leading US drone company, is seeking a Quality Engineering Intern for the Summer 2027 season. The Hardware Ops - Quality team helps set quality standards for internal teams and products in a fast-paced environment.

You will perform root-cause analysis, measure quality metrics, and support reliability testing across projects, collaborating with multiple engineering groups. Strong candidates are ME/EE students with SolidWorks and data-analysis experience.

Qualificações

• A junior, senior, or MS-level student - Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering
• Experience with SolidWorks, Data Analysis, etc.
• Understanding of quality principles – PFMEA, DFM, DFA, stack up analysis
• Ability to articulate problem statements with root cause analysis
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills

Responsabilidades

• Root cause and resolve quality yield and customer-facing product quality concerns
• Define, measure, and improve quality metrics and analytics
• Evaluate performance and reliability of products and factory quality systems
• Work closely with other engineering teams across Skydio
• Operate with ownership and autonomy over your work
