Job summary

Veolia North America, LLC is seeking a Quality Engineering intern to join a cross-functional team focused on investigating field failures and improving production processes. You will work with customer data and failed components to drive root-cause analyses and CAPA actions.

The role emphasizes data analysis, reporting, and collaboration across engineering disciplines, with exposure to testing and process control in a manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in, or recently graduated from an engineering degree in a technical discipline.
• Experience or coursework related to data analysis and data management.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Self-driven, creative problem solver with ability to balance conflicting requirements.

Responsibilities

• Investigate field failures using customer data and returned parts; test parts and collect data.
• Author Failure Analysis Reports; identify upstream quality improvements and corrective actions via root cause analysis and CAPA.
• Develop understanding of testing and production processes; identify key process improvements.
• Review internal failure modes with production to identify areas for improvement and potential SPC implementation.
• Perform failure analysis investigations on recurring materials to determine root cause.
• Perform QC testing on existing or new products; trend QC data and report monthly trends.
