Job summary

KB Signaling is seeking an Intern in Melbourne, FL to support quality engineering activities. You will assist QA teams with product and process quality, collect and analyze data, and help document quality plans and inspections.

You will collaborate with Engineering, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, and Operations to improve quality, safety, and on-time delivery while gaining real-world experience in a high-tech railroad signaling environment.

Qualifications

Degree in Quality Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Engineering Technology, or related field with a 3.0 GPA or higher.
Entering Junior Year.
Strong teamwork and communication skills.

Responsibilities

Support Quality Assurance with product and process quality activities for new and existing products.
Collect, organize, and analyze quality data; support identification of trends, nonconformities, and opportunities for improvement.
Help prepare and maintain quality documentation, including plans, Inspections.
Participate in process audits, and continuous-improvement projects as assigned.
Work collaboratively with Engineering, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, and Operations to promote quality, safety, and on-time delivery.
