Job summary

Corning Incorporated is seeking motivated students for a hands-on role in quality and operations within our Specialty Materials segment. You will define improvements, monitor metrics, and collaborate with IT to access data tied to product quality.

You will participate in as-built training, attend weekly tech talks, and contribute to a broad range of projects, while gaining real-world manufacturing experience at Corning.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a degree in Engineering or scientific field.
• Strong problem solving and analytical abilities.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Define and implement quality improvements and training projects.
• Monitor OEE and quality metrics.
• Collaborate with IT and controls to access data and integrate it with product measurements.
• Support rollout of new training and documentation.
• Engage with plant safety initiatives.
