Job summary

Bosch Rexroth in Pineville, NC is seeking a motivated Engineering student for a Quality Engineer Co-op role in a production Value Stream. The position focuses on planning, facilitating, and stabilizing continuous improvements using lean principles to enhance safety, quality, delivery, and cost.

You will support cross-functional CI projects, review data, assist with measurements, and contribute to documentation such as control plans and FMEAs. Strong Excel and communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Current student enrolled in Engineering program.
• Ability to work independently as well as in a team and to lead small project group.
• Proficient in Excel, Outlook, Word, Visio, Power Point
• Strong interpersonal and problem solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist in continuous improvement projects within a manufacturing Value Stream.
• Provide day-to-day support activities including inspection, sorting, fixture design, and assembly.
• Assist in measurement system analysis on various gauges and data collection.
• Review technical data, drawings, and work instructions to identify and resolve quality issues.
• Assist with valve and/or test stand troubleshooting and root cause analysis.
• Support reviews of performance data and driving improvements in supplier quality for new and existing products.
