Job summary

B&B Manufacturing Co. is seeking a QA Support Associate to assist quality engineers in daily manufacturing activities in Missouri.

You will help with documentation, containment, and NCMR/MRB tasks to support product quality. Responsibilities include reviewing basic drawings and customer specs, validating rejections with inspection tools, drafting plans and quality alerts, and assisting with Gage R&R studies and process improvements.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• At least 6 months of manufacturing experience.
• Basic skills in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Basic understanding of ANSI Y14.5 symbology.

Responsibilities

• Review and interpret basic drawings and customer specs.
• Validate rejections using inspection tools; write NCMRs; perform limited MRB approvals.
• Gather immediate cause and corrective actions.
• Draft inspection plans, quality alerts, and control plans.
• Provide suggestions for process improvement.
• Assist in process walk and Gage Repeatability & Reproducibility studies.
• Administrative follow-up on NCMR actions.
• Maintain Stamp Control Process governance.

JOB SUMMARY

Responsible for assisting quality engineers in day-to-day activities. This includes supporting production for the need to write NCMRs, perform limited MRB approvals, containment, conduct immediate cause and corrective action, and support other QE activities.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The duties and responsibilities described are not a comprehensive list and additional tasks may be assigned. To perform this job successfully an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.

• Review and interpret basic drawings and customer specifications for assigned customers.
• Validate rejections using inspection tools (Basic Level), write NCMRs and perform limited MRB approvals.
• Gather immediate cause & corrective actions.
• Draft documented information (i.e. inspection plans, quality alerts, control plans).
• Provide suggestions for improvement.
• Assist in process walk and Gage Repeatability & Reproducibility studies.
• Administrative follow-up on NCMR cause and corrective action.
• Maintain the Stamp Control Process by governing the issuance and retrieval of stamps.

QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS

• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• Must have at least 6 months of manufacturing experience.
• Basic Skills in Microsoft Office Suite
• Basic understanding of ANSI Y14.5 symbology, interpretation, and application.
