B&B Manufacturing Co in California is seeking a Quality Engineer to assess NCMR and approve rework instructions. Responsibilities include analyzing trends, resolving quality issues, and creating technical documents like 8Ds.
The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience. Strong problem-solving skills and intermediate knowledge in machining methods and Microsoft Office are essential.

Responsible for performing independent assessment of NCMR, review and approve rework instructions, MRB dispositions, new documented information, new product, or process. Review cause and corrective actions, and follow-up for effectiveness. Participate in cross-functional team on in-depth root causes analysis, APQP/PPAP, problem solving, and continuous improvement.
Regularly sitting, standing, walking, climbing/balancing, reaching with arms and hands, stooping/kneeling/crouching/crawling, hearing, feeling/touching, and near/far visual acuity. Lifting up to 10 lbs regularly, up to 25 lbs frequently, and up to 50 lbs occasionally.
