Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or Industrial Engineering with 3–7 years of related experience.
• ASQ CQE or equivalent certification preferred.
• Strong understanding of mechanical systems, weldments, and fabrication processes.
• Experience with failure analysis and root cause investigation techniques; proficiency in structured problem-solving and quality tools (8D, A3, CAPA, PFMEA, DFMEA).
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings and GD&T; PMO experience (CAPM or equivalent) preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Office 365; data analysis skills.
• Experience with data/statistical tools such as Minitab, SAS JMP, or Power BI preferred.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and manage warranty processes including validation, investigation, root cause analysis, and cost tracking.
• Analyze warranty trends to identify systemic issues and drive corrective actions.
• Lead containment actions and ensure permanent fixes are effective.
• Conduct teardown analysis and evaluate field failures to determine root causes.
• Lead cross-functional reviews and risk assessments using warranty data.
• Develop project-specific quality plans and CTQ requirements.
• Coordinate with PMO, Engineering, Test Lab, Quality, Sales on warranty reduction initiatives.
• Lead structured problem-solving activities (8D, 3L5 Why, Affinity) and ensure actions are closed.
• Serve as a technical liaison for customers and field teams; provide on-site support when needed.
• Develop dashboards and reporting tools for warranty trends and project risk visibility.
• Travel up to 40%.
