Job summary

Sherpa is seeking a Quality Engineer in Tulsa, OK to guide plant-level Quality Inspectors and ensure product quality and process integrity. You will review design plans, procedures, and quality manuals, work with developers and project managers, and support ISO 9001:2015 compliance.

Ideal candidates have 3–5 years of related experience, a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, and strong analytical, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills. Local candidates preferred.

Job Overview – Quality Engineer – 34397

We"ve got an excellent opportunity for an intermediate or advanced-career Quality Engineering candidate to guide the work duties of plant-level Quality Inspectors in our client"s Tulsa, OK location.

Compensation

To $100K.

Responsibilities

In this role, you will:

• Review design plans, process procedures, test procedures, and quality manuals to understand the scope, requirements, and function of products.
• Ensure products meet the organization’s and customers’ quality and product integrity requirements.
• Support product development or operations team by providing analysis and expertise throughout the inspection process.
• Identify root causes of problems in the production process; recommend and/or implement corrective measures.
• Analyze data to identify trends in product quality or defects with the goal of mitigating and preventing recurrence and future defects.
• Support and maintain the requirements related to keeping the site ISO 9001:2015 certified.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Extensive knowledge of or the ability to quickly learn the organization’s production processes.
• Excellent interpersonal skills with ability to serve as a liaison with developers, project managers, and customer support.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
• Internal Auditor certification is strongly preferred.
• SAP experience is strongly preferred.

Education and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related discipline required.
• Three to five years of related experience required.
