Job summary

L3Harris Technologies in Camden, Arkansas is seeking a Specialist, Quality Engineer to design, develop and implement standards for inspecting and testing products in compliance with contract and regulatory requirements.

The role leads PFMEA activities, manages supplier corrective actions and interfaces with customers, vendors and internal teams to ensure quality expectations are met. Security clearance may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 4 years of prior relevant engineering experience
• Graduate Degree and minimum 2 years of prior related engineering experience
• In lieu of a degree, minimum of 8 years of prior engineering related experience

Responsibilities

• Ensure program design and process documents include program quality requirements and that products are inspectable
• Lead PFMEA to quantify and reduce risk
• Actively participate in improvement teams to reduce risk using mistake-proofing principles
• Develop, implement and monitor inspection methods to ensure products meet engineering requirements
• Perform documentation reviews in support of hardware acceptance (HAR) activities and maintain QDCC media
• Drives corrective and preventive actions to ensure continual improvement
