Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field.
  • Three years of related experience in engineering, purchasing or quality.
  • Experience with GD&T, layouts, gauging, SPC and APQP tools.

Responsibilities

  • Lead moderately complex quality assignments and projects.
  • Coordinate moderately complex product/process capability studies.
  • Lead problem solving teams; identify root causes, implement corrective actions and verify effectiveness.
  • Develop product/process procedures including development of performance metrics.
  • Perform statistical analysis used in problem solving, quality improvement projects & Six Sigma teams.
  • Perform layouts, read and understand GD&T.
  • Investigate customer complaints, develop corrective action plans and verify effectiveness.
  • Lead FMEA teams and the development of Control Plans.
  • Serve as a liaison between supplier and Briggs & Stratton in quality activities.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
