Job summary

JTEKT North America Corporation in Vonore, Tennessee is seeking a Quality Engineer to ensure product excellence and customer satisfaction. You will support root-cause analysis, implement corrective actions, conduct audits, and collaborate with production and suppliers to strengthen the quality management system.

The role requires a Bachelor's in engineering or related field and 5+ years of manufacturing quality experience; ASQ/Six Sigma certification is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Math, Physics, or related field.
• 5+ years of quality/engineering experience in manufacturing.
• ASQ and/or Six Sigma certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support activities maintaining product quality in the production process.
• Act as the voice of the customer to JTEKT departments.
• Analyze root cause and verify corrective action effectiveness for nonconformances.
• Develop and conduct audits on systems or products.
• Support launch activities for new or revised products.
• Contribute to quality, health, safety, and environmental maintenance.
• Travel to other JTEKT facilities as required.
• Work overtime and weekends as required.
