Zusammenfassung

Venteon is seeking a Quality Engineer for a 2nd shift, in-office role in Normal, IL. The position focuses on quality, continuous improvement, and operational excellence within a JIT manufacturing environment, including initial training on the 1st shift.

As a subject matter expert, you will deploy and sustain QMS/QOS tools, drive data-driven improvements, support supplier and manufacturing quality, participate in audits, monitor KPIs, and lead corrective and preventive actions.

Qualifikationen

• Minimum 5 years of experience in a Quality Engineering role.
• Knowledge of ISO 9001, IATF 16949, APQP, PPAP, FMEA, SPC and MSA.
• Hands-on experience with QMS/QOS implementation or improvement.
• Experience with quality data analysis, reporting, and metrics.
• Strong problem-solving, analytical and organizational skills.
• Experience supporting ISO/IATF/VDA audits.
• Passion for quality and continuous improvement.

Aufgaben

• Serve as SME for QMS, QOS, and PMT deployment and sustainment.
• Support development and rollout of quality systems aligned with goals.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on quality, stability, and waste reduction.
• Implement, train, and optimize quality systems and tools.
• Gather user feedback to enhance system usability and effectiveness.
• Support supplier and manufacturing quality processes through QMS/QOS tools.
• Participate in audits and follow-up actions.
• Monitor KPIs, identify risks, and support corrective and preventive actions.
• Analyze data to improve reporting accuracy and insights.
